Day 1

Fly to San Jose today. You will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel in private vehicle.

Day 2

Depart by road and white water raft today to reach your secluded and romantic hideaway, Pacaure Lodge.

Day 3

Free day to enjoy the pristine surroundings of the Pacuare Lodge. You could arrange kayaking, a hike to an indigenous community, a spa treatment or simply relax on your private terrace. We highly recommend booking a romantic meal in the treetop 'Nest' during your stay.

Day 4

Leave Pacuare today by white water raft and then continue by road to the Arenal Volcano region.

Day 5

Today you will visit the Arenal 1968 Reserve, a lesser visited volcanic park with beautiful scenery. You will then travel to a hot springs complex to soak your limbs in thermal pools.

Day 6

Free day to arrange activities in Arenal to suit your own interests. For wildlife lovers we recommend the superb day trip to the Cano Negro refuge, or if you would prefer some adventure we can organise zip lining, rafting, mountain biking or stand-up paddle boarding.

Day 7

You will leave Arenal today and travel to Costa Rica's best-known cloud forest, Monteverde.

Day 8

Visit a superb cloud forest adventure centre where you can explore canopy walkways suspended in the tree tops and try out some zip lining.

Day 9

Travel to the Northern Pacific coast to complete your honeymoon with a few days relaxation on the beach.

Day 10

Relaxing on the beach.

Day 11

Relaxation on the Northern Pacific Coast. If you find yourself getting restless you could organise activities such as horse riding or a visit to one of the nearby national parks.

Day 12

Travel to the international airport for your flight back to the UK.

Arrive home today.
